Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our optical connectivity department. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform quality control by checking pieces against blueprints, ensuring they meet specific requirements. You will also be responsible for plugging connectors into testing machines, which will evaluate the product. After testing, you will document the pass/fail results and reasons into the computer system.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control checks on optical connectivity components.
• Compare components against blueprints to ensure they meet specifications.
• Operate testing machines to evaluate product functionality.
• Document pass/fail results and reasons in the computer system.
• Perform repetitive testing procedures accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in documentation.
• Familiarity with assembly and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly.
• Knowledge of PCB and flexible circuit boards.
• Experience testing electrical connections, wiring, and soldering.
• Candidate must be qualify for ITAR regulations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Naperville,IL.
