Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role supports day-to-day production operations by assisting with assembly, material handling, and general labor tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with machine operators, welders, and production staff to ensure products are assembled accurately, materials move efficiently through the shop, and the work area remains clean, organized, and safe.

Work Environment
The role is based in a production and warehouse setting that operates at a fast pace, with exposure to both hot and cold conditions depending on weather and shop activity. Standard hours are 8-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays, with potential requirements or expectations to work after hours and on weekends during peak periods. You will work around metal components, machinery, and material handling equipment, using tools such as hand tools and tape measures. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and cleanliness, with an expectation that team members maintain a tidy work area and follow all safety guidelines while performing production, assembly, packaging, and material handling task
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Laurel, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
