Job Description

The Operations Generalist plays a critical role in the preparation and handling of components for various processes such as shot peening, painting, plasma preparation, and machining. This position involves following detailed schematics for masking components, collecting and delivering materials, refilling tools, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform case masking for shot peening, painting preparation, plasma prep, and machining.
• Follow detailed schematics to apply masking tape to components, which vary in size and scope.
• Collect and deliver materials, including picking up parts shipped to the facility and signing them out from the bonding room.
• Ensure toolboxes in each cell are fully stocked with parts and assist with locating any missing or misplaced parts.
• Operate aqueous cleaning equipment and apply rust preventative solutions, including hand washing and finishing parts as needed.
• Inspect parts visually before returning them to the cell for the next stage of the refurbishment process.
• Maintain a clean work environment by performing daily cleanup tasks such as mopping, dusting, wiping, and picking up fixtures.
• Track and transport parts within campus grounds, following directions on delivery locations and schedules.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to be on feet and moving around the majority of the day
• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Exposure to working off work instructions or blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in auto mechanics, construction, or manufacturing/warehouse environments
• Experience in medical or restaurant/service industries is a plus
• Steel-toed shoes are a must

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled environment with current openings on the second shift, Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, and weekend shifts from Friday to Sunday, 6 AM to 6:30 PM. Employees work 36 hours and get paid for 40. Engage in a quality and safety-driven atmosphere, interacting with team members across various cells and groups.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rogers, AR.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Rogers,AR.
