Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Production Associate to join our team. This role requires individuals who can work independently and maintain a steady pace in a production environment. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training, ensuring you are well-prepared to contribute effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production processes.
• Prepare materials for production.
• Keep track of supply inventory.
• Assist with packaging and labeling finished products.
• Ensure consistent product quality.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with packing, assembly, and using a tape measure.
• Proficiency in operating a pallet jack and forklift.
• General production and warehouse experience.
• Mechanically inclined with inspection and machine operation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to run manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work well independently and with a team.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized production warehouse facility. The dress code is casual, with closed-toed shoes required. Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility to stay until 4:30 on busier days. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
