Charlotte, NC 28226 | Up to $55,000 + Quarterly Bonus

We are a well-established, nationally recognized specialty food retailer in the Charlotte area and are looking to find an Assistant General Manager ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

This is a great opportunity for a manager who enjoys a fast-paced environment, knows how to recruit and develop a team, and wants the stability and benefits of an established organization.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to $55,000
  • Quarterly bonus potential up to $6,000
  • Medical, dental & vision benefits available Day 1
  • 18 days of PTO, prorated based on start date

What You’ll Do

As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead day-to-day operations while helping drive sales, customer service, staffing, and overall store performance.

You’ll help:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members
  • Build and maintain a strong, dependable staff
  • Lead daily operations and ensure excellent customer service
  • Drive sales and help achieve store performance goals
  • Manage scheduling, labor, inventory, and operational standards
  • Prepare the team for high-volume and seasonal business periods
  • Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
  • Step in and lead the operation when the General Manager is unavailable

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with restaurant, food service, specialty retail, or hospitality management experience who knows how to lead from the floor.

The ideal candidate is:

  • A strong recruiter and team builder
  • Comfortable managing high-volume and seasonal staffing
  • Sales-minded and customer-focused
  • Organized, dependable, and hands-on
  • Experienced with coaching and developing employees
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operation
  • ServSafe certified

Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance and be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
