Salary: $55,000–$75,000/year

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to coordinate port pickups, customer deliveries, and empty container returns while providing excellent service to customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage Port of Houston pickups, deliveries, and empty returns within free time.
• Communicate with customers and drivers by phone and email.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and maintain excellent email communication.
• Track customer interactions, transactions, and follow-ups.
• Handle last-minute scheduling and operational changes.
• Identify and suggest improvements to daily operations.
• Maintain clear communication between customers, drivers, and the operations team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dispatch/transportation operations experience involving the Port of Houston.
• Knowledge of Profit Tools preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.
