Inspector

This position is responsible for inspecting metal stamped parts and products to ensure they meet customer specifications and company quality standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform accurate measurements and quality checks in a manufacturing setting.

• Inspect metal stamped parts and products to verify they meet defined customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate tools such as tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming materials in a clear and timely manner.
• Follow established inspection procedures and quality guidelines to maintain consistent and reliable results.
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records to support quality control and continuous improvement efforts.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to address inspection issues and support overall product quality.
• Handle general labor tasks related to inspection activities within the manufacturing environment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with clean room and safety standards.

• Experience performing inspection or quality inspection tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for dimensional checks.
• Strong attention to detail when examining parts and products for defects or deviations.
• Basic math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verify specifications.
• Willingness to learn and follow established inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Capability to perform general labor tasks associated with inspection work.

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred and supports success in this role.
• Familiarity with metal stamped parts or similar production components is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a structured, process-driven quality control environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Danville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
