Job Title: Project Manager Construction (Non-IT)

Job Description

This contract Project Manager role focuses on leading tenant improvement and capital improvement construction projects across a commercial office portfolio in the Radnor, PA area. You will plan, direct, and coordinate non-IT projects, represent the landlord on projects ranging from 5,000 to 100,000 square feet, and collaborate closely with design, leasing, and construction teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead tenant improvement and capital improvement construction projects across a commercial office portfolio in the Radnor, PA area.
• Represent the landlord on commercial office projects ranging from approximately 5,000 to 100,000 square feet.
• Coordinate projects by developing detailed plans, defining milestones, and directing the integration of technical and construction activities.
• Manage multiple project sites, including regular travel between locations in the Radnor area.
• Conduct weekly project meetings with design teams, leasing teams, and other stakeholders to review status, risks, and next steps.
• Review, evaluate, and provide input on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other project-related documentation.
• Present and explain project proposals, progress reports, and findings to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
• Analyze technology and resource needs, as well as market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility and scope of projects.
• Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate project team members as needed, ensuring appropriate staffing and overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Monitor project performance, quality, and costs, applying best practices in construction management and project controls.
• Apply knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
• Use project management tools and standard office software to track schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including engineering, design, and leasing functions, to align project objectives and resolve issues.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, with a focus on tenant improvement and capital improvement projects.
• 510 years of construction project management experience, ideally in commercial office environments.
• Experience in construction management; design, interior architecture, or engineering backgrounds are also applicable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage ones time, and handle multiple projects and priorities.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective delivery of construction projects.
• Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
• Bachelors degree in business administration or a related field such as construction management, engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Drivers license required to travel between multiple project sites in the Radnor area.
• Experience managing non-IT projects in fields such as engineering, construction, or product roll-out.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• Experience managing tenant improvement projects in commercial office buildings.
• Experience working with or within design teams, including interior architecture or engineering disciplines.
• Comfort working in a landlord-representative capacity on construction projects.
• Familiarity with capital planning and portfolio-level project coordination.
• Experience conducting or participating in weekly project meetings with cross-functional teams such as design and leasing.

Work Environment

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension, based primarily in the Radnor, PA area. The standard work schedule is approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will split your time between multiple local project sites and an office environment, with some flexibility to work remotely at times. The role involves regular travel between locations within the Radnor area, so a valid drivers license is required. You will work closely with a construction team, design teams, and leasing teams, supported by a hiring manager who is available to assist with questions about the role. The environment is professional and project-focused, with frequent meetings, use of standard office software and project management tools, and an emphasis on collaboration, clear communication, and high-quality project delivery.

This is a Contract position based out of Wayne, PA.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Wayne,PA.
