Job Description

We are seeking an experienced plumber to support residential construction projects. In this role, you install and rough in plumbing systems, ensure all work meets quality standards, and work independently to complete assignments safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform rough-in plumbing work for manufacturing residential tiny homes, including laying out and installing piping systems according to plans and codes.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures using appropriate tools, materials, and techniques.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Interpret construction plans and specifications to determine plumbing requirements and layout.
• Use PVC and other approved materials to assemble, cut, and fit piping systems accurately.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper function, adherence to building codes, and alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate with construction teams and other trades on-site to coordinate plumbing installations and project timelines.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area in the shop and on job sites.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a plumber in residential construction.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing installation practices and building codes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform rough-in plumbing work independently.
• Experience working with PVC piping and related fittings.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a construction or shop environment.
• Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, and standard plumbing equipment.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with other trades and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues.

Work Environment

You work primarily in a shop environment that is non-climate controlled, supporting residential construction projects. The role follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can expect a hands-on setting where you use standard plumbing tools and materials, including PVC piping, while collaborating with other construction professionals in an active, production-focused atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stillmore, GA 30464.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
