This role involves performing high-quality welding using GMAW (MIG) and SMAW (stick) processes in a manufacturing environment. You will read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, set up and operate welding equipment, and ensure all welds meet specified standards and quality requirements. You will contribute to safe, efficient production by inspecting parts, maintaining equipment, and following established safety and housekeeping practices.

Work EnvironmentThe standard work schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with additional work on Friday as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, though appropriate protective equipment is required in manufacturing areas. You will wear safety glasses and hearing protection when in production zones and may work around chemicals that are documented and managed according to Material Safety Data Sheets. The role involves working around welding equipment, cutting torches, carbon arc tools, and electric hoists, with an emphasis on maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with established housekeeping policies.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
