The Production Press Operator routinely uses molds and presses to produce first-article and regular production parts in a timely and efficient manner with minimal to no supervision. This role follows written manufacturing procedures, requires the ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice, and involves close collaboration with co-workers in a team-oriented environment. The position includes frequent use of hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure parts meet specified dimensions and quality standards.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a manufacturing plant environment that involves working around production machinery, molds, presses, and finishing equipment. You will work under variable environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, and vapors. There is regular exposure to solvents and other industrial chemicals, with appropriate safety procedures and protective measures in place. The work is physically active and requires frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs, standing, and manual handling throughout the shift. A focus on safety, cleanliness, and organization is essential to maintain a hazard-free work area.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcminnville, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.30 - $24.20/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
