Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines and equipment to produce high-quality sewn products.
- Read and interpret patterns, specifications, and instructions for various sewing projects.
- Measure and cut fabric according to project requirements.
- Ensure the quality of finished products by inspecting seams, stitches, and overall appearance.
- Maintain sewing machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in training new team members on sewing techniques and equipment usage.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards in the workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sewing, preferably in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of various sewing techniques and fabric types.
- Ability to read and follow patterns and instructions accurately.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of sewing machine maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sewing or textiles is a plus.
