CNC Machining Millwright & Laser Tracker Technician
Picture this: you arrive at a facility near the launch sites of Cape Canaveral, FL. A critical assembly needs micron-level precision. You open the model, apply your GD&T expertise, verify datums with a laser tracker in Verisurf, and then move to the machinesCNC lathe humming, manual mill readybringing the plan to life. Your mission
- Turn drawings, blueprints, and both verbal and written instructions into accurate machining operations
- Set up, operate, and prove out CNC lathe programs; run manual mills/lathes and other shop equipment
- Program and machine high-precision, quick-turn, and recurring production work with unwavering detail
- Integrate process monitoring to precisely locate welding and machining details
- Uphold client procedures, processes, and safety culture while partnering across multiple teams
What sets you up for success
- Advanced GD&T skills to interpret blueprints at every assembly level
- Experience capturing geometric data using a laser tracker with model-based software such as Verisurf
- Growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic
Compensation and perks
- Pay up to $34–$41/hour
- Per diem available for non-local technicians
