WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – RESTORATION COMPANY

Location: Northern Virginia
Full-Time Position

We are a growing restoration company seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to help manage our warehouse, equipment, supplies, and company vehicles.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is organized, mechanically inclined, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining an orderly workspace. Retired military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
  • Organize and track restoration equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Conduct regular supply and inventory counts
  • Receive, unload, organize, and distribute incoming materials and supplies
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for restoration crews and upcoming projects
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
  • Monitor company vehicles for needed repairs or maintenance
  • Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Keep warehouse inventory and equipment records updated
  • Assist with deliveries and pickups as needed
  • Maintain accountability for company property, tools, and equipment
  • Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual
  • Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable performing basic maintenance
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with inventory management is preferred
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Retired military experience is a plus
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, fleet maintenance, or equipment management experience
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment
  • Experience with basic automotive or small equipment maintenance
