Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale data center construction initiative in Plain City, Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced construction environment and can combine strong project coordination skills with financial and cost-related oversight. The role will work closely with project and cost leadership to keep project information accurate, support commercial controls, and help maintain visibility into budget performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee project coordination activities for a major construction program, ensuring schedules, documentation, and cost-related records remain accurate and up to date.
• Partner with cost management teams to track project spending, review budget status, and provide clear insight into financial performance.
• Prepare, enter, and maintain detailed numeric project data, with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
• Review and process change orders and work orders, helping confirm scope adjustments and cost impacts are properly documented.
• Support onsite project execution by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including construction, commercial, and operations teams.
• Identify issues proactively, evaluate options, and help resolve project-related challenges through practical and analytical decision-making.
• Monitor project documentation and reporting workflows to ensure critical information is organized and accessible for leadership review.
• Contribute to maintaining commercial control of the project by helping align field activity, documentation, and cost visibility.• 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong background in construction projects, with the ability to work effectively in an onsite jobsite environment.
• Demonstrated experience supporting cost tracking, pricing, budget monitoring, or related financial project controls activities.
• High level of accuracy in data entry, including work involving numeric and cost-related information.
• Proven ability to manage change orders, work orders, and supporting project documentation.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and respond effectively.
• PMP certification is preferred, along with experience leading or supporting cross-functional project efforts.
