Manufacturing Engineer Assembly

Skill Set Requirements

· Manufacturing engineering experience involving machining, sheet metal fabrication, tooling, equipment, or related manufacturing processes

· Ability to develop, implement, test, and improve engineering designs and manufacturing solutions

· Experience preparing and applying technical engineering specifications

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex or conflicting information

· Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage work within an established project schedule

· Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with different audiences

· Ability to make timely decisions and remain accountable for commitments

· Knowledge of safe work systems, applicable policies, regulations, and risk-management practices

· Ability to work collaboratively with production teams, suppliers, contractors, and other engineering functions

What Makes You Stand Out

· Experience designing or improving machining, sheet metal, tooling, or related manufacturing processes

· Demonstrated ability to diagnose operational problems and implement practical engineering solutions

· Experience coordinating engineering work with suppliers, subcontractors, or other external partners

· Ability to develop feasibility testing approaches and evaluate engineering outcomes

· Experience creating clear technical specifications, engineering documentation, and reports

· Working knowledge of project management, contract management, costing, or budgeting

· A continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to identify inefficiencies in existing processes

· Ability to provide technical guidance and build alignment among stakeholders with different priorities

Education

· Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in one of the following:

· Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline

Equivalent manufacturing engineering education, training, and relevant professional experience
