Automation Personnel Services is looking for aBilingualWarehouse Associatefor a company based inDallas,Texas.Inthisrole, you willhave the opportunity toperforman array of functions that include picking and filling orders, measuring and cutting a variety of hoses, and managing/organizing stock in the warehouse.
You'll play a key role in assembling products, preparing customer orders, managing inventory, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Every day brings variety, opportunities to learn new skills, and hands-on experience with equipment and materials. Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional availability on Saturdays.
Bilingual Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate assembly equipment with proper training
- Prepare orders by processing pick tickets; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Maintains inventory by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials picked and noting discrepancies.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves andworkstationsneat; sweep and organize warehouse andwork area for orderliness at all times
- Operate materials handling equipment with proper training
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to supervisors
- Provide assistanceordirectionsto other warehouse employees
Bilingual Warehouse Associate QualificationsandRequirements
- High School Diploma orequivalent preferred
- Hose and Fittings product knowledge is preferred, but not required
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Ability to read a tape measure preferred
- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to and work in a variety of situations to support the company’s goals
- Must be comfortable lifting heavy items and using warehouse machinery
