Job Summary:
Pallet Repair technicians are responsible for sorting and repairing returned pallets. The technician must learn and memorize the PECO pallet specification and ensure that all pallets leaving his worktable meet it. Pallets that do not meet the specifications must be repaired.
Essential Duties:
- Sortpalletsbyliftingthemonto the worktableandinspectingthemfrom the top, bottom, and sides.
- Replaceanydefectivecomponents on thepallet using the suppliedtools.Thesetools includePneumatic nailers, reciprocating saws, andangle grinders.
- Restocklumberandkeep the workstationcleanandorganizedthroughouttheday.
- Memorize pallet specifications and ensure all pallets processed meet those specifications.
- Cleanorreportanycontaminationorpotentialfoodsafetyissuesforcustomers.
- Otherdutiesasassigned
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all PECO safety policies and procedures for the depot and your role.

- Goodattentiontodetailandorganizationalskillsarenecessary
