The Program Manager for Outpatient Facility provides senior, onsite leadership for Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital’s outpatient program, aligning clinical operations with outpatient guidelines and all applicable state and federal requirements. This role exists to integrate service delivery across staff and contracted partners while driving measurable performance in quality, documentation, and safety.
Key responsibilities include supervising LPNs, MHTs, and contracted clinicians and vendors (laboratory, x-ray, pharmacy); building an efficient program plan; maintaining community/state/federal relationships; operating within budget parameters; recruiting and retaining qualified staff; and leading the outpatient quality assurance program. Additional oversight includes continuous improvement of service quality, documentation quality, patient safety and infection control, contracted-service performance, community education, attendance/census to projected targets, and staff training. The Program Manager also performs clinical services within licensure (RN or clinician) as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s-level licensed clinician OR RN with 5+ years treating mental health disorders
- Strong QA/PI, compliance, supervision, and risk-management capability

You begin onsite in Baton Rouge by reviewing the day’s outpatient census/attendance, open quality items, and any infection-control or safety flags. A brief check-in follows with unit staff and contracted partners to confirm coverage and schedule alignment. Throughout the day you balance real-time clinical support with administrative follow-throughaddressing documentation questions as they arise and keeping communication with community and regulatory contacts clear and timely. Midday often includes quick touchpoints on training needs or vendor service issues, with notes captured for tracking. Late afternoon is used to close loops: update action plans, log QA progress, and prepare next-day priorities so the program stays steady, compliant, and patient-centered.
