Job Summary We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable
Direct Support Staff to join our team in supporting adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. You’ll play a key role in helping someone live a full, independent lifewhether it’s assisting with daily tasks, running errands, or getting out in the community. You’ll be working with a fun-loving client who enjoys getting out in the community and staying active.
Experience is great, but not requiredwe’re happy to train the right person!
Responsibilities- Prepare meals and snacks
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Support personal care, including bathing
- Provide companionship and community engagement
- Offer meaningful choices and encourage independence
- Assist with errands and grocery shopping
- Dispense medication as directed
- Follow the client's behavior plan
- Accurately complete daily documentation
Qualifications- Prior caregiving or support experience preferred
- Must pass DOJ Livescan
- Physical & TB test required during onboarding
- Basic cooking and cleaning skills
- Ability to follow health and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, patient, and respectful
