Groomer

-Existing Clientele preferred-

Duties:
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur to maintain their hygiene and appearance
- Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
- Assess pets' skin and coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide recommendations

Experience:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and compassion
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners

Skills:
- Dog training: Ability to handle dogs during the grooming process, including basic obedience commands
- Dog handling: Proficiency in safely handling dogs during grooming procedures
- Veterinary: Understanding of basic veterinary procedures and knowledge of animal health and wellness
- Pet care: Experience in caring for pets in the absence of their owners, including caring for and providing companionship
- Kennel: Knowledge of kennel operations, including cleaning, feeding, and exercise routines for pets
- Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide a positive experience for pet owners
