Human Resources Generalist

Manufacturing company needs a Human Resources Generalist. This job is in Grand Prairie, Texas.

This is a position with a very successful national company that is opening a new plant in this area. The company offers excellent compensation and benefits.

You will initially be responsible for recruitment and onboarding of skilled workers who do welding, assembly, and finishing of steel structures. You will be working with all phases of human resources:

• Responsible for recruitment, including interviews and testing for all employees – exempt and non-exempt.
• Handle employee benefits and employee relations
• Work with HR software that tracks employee statistics, hires, transfers, terminations, etc.
• Work on special projects that ensure compliance with all employment-related federal, state, and local government laws.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree is required. Should have 2-3 years’ experience in human resources, especially in a manufacturing environment.

• Should have skills in recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and other aspects of human resources
• Experience in developing human resource reports for management analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, computer, and writing skills. Must be very comfortable with MSOffice, Teams, Excel, etc.
