What You'll Be Responsible For

As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee maintenance operations for a complex manufacturing environment that includes automated production and packaging equipment. You will lead a skilled maintenance team while ensuring equipment uptime, employee safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a maintenance team in a high-volume manufacturing facility
• Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime through continuous improvement initiatives
• Support installation, startup, and optimization of new production equipment
• Manage maintenance projects, capital improvements, and equipment upgrades
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards
• Review maintenance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and reporting
• Collaborate with operations leadership to maximize production performance

QualificationsRequired

• 6+ years of maintenance management experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership experience managing maintenance personnel and plant maintenance operations
• Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting expertise
• Experience working with:
  • Three-phase motors
  • 120V-480V electrical systems
  • PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Automated production and packaging equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Food, bakery, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience
• PLC programming and advanced controls troubleshooting
• Boiler and steam system experience
• Robotics and automation experience
• TIG and Stick welding experience
• Bilingual Spanish communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
