Qualifications:

• Minimum EIPA score of 3.5 or above
• Full-time, on-site availability required
• Ability to provide and maintain necessary licensure and credential documentation (additional requirements may apply)
• Prior school-based interpreting experience is highly valued
• Demonstrated skill in both receptive and expressive interpreting
• Comfortable adapting to a changing school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear and accurate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students, educators, and their peers within the classroom and throughout the school day
• Interpret classroom discussions, lectures, assemblies, and extracurricular activities
• Support students’ full access to curriculum and extracurricular involvement
• Collaborate with educational staff to ensure smooth integration and support for students’ needs
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• May be required to assist in developing instructional materials and resources when needed
