The White Salmon facility serves as a major engineering, manufacturing, and new product introduction center focused on advanced composite fabrication, process development, tooling design, product validation, and production scaling. Teams at this location support the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototype development through qualification, production launch, and continuous process improvement.

The Composite Process Engineer will lead the development, validation, and optimization of advanced composite manufacturing processes while serving as the critical bridge between engineering design and efficient production execution.

KeyResponsibilities

• Lead composite manufacturing process development from concept through full-rate production, ensuring processes are robust, repeatable, and capable of meeting customer requirements.
• Develop, evaluate, validate, and continuously improve composite fabrication methods, tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and manufacturing systems.
• Support new product introduction activities by developing production-ready manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling packages, and qualification plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process optimization, cycle-time improvement, yield enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and external vendors to solve technical challenges and support successful program execution.
