Construction Superintendent – High-Rise Restoration

An established Florida general contractor with more than 30 years of experience is hiring a Construction Superintendent for occupied high-rise concrete, stucco, and waterproofing restoration projects ranging from $1 million to more than $50 million.
We are seeking a proactive, computer-savvy field leader with direct high-rise restoration experience and previous experience as a Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager. Extensive Superintendent experience is not required. Candidates with strong restoration knowledge, field-leadership ability, and the willingness to develop within the Superintendent role will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations, crews, subcontractors, vendors, and jobsite activities.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, inspections, deliveries, and project schedules.
- Coordinate the sequencing of concrete, stucco, waterproofing, painting, and related restoration work.
- Ensure work meets engineering requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Read plans, specifications, scopes of work, and engineering documents.
- Maintain daily reports, progress photos, as-built information, and other project documentation.
- Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, quantity verification, and project closeout.
- Identify and document field conditions, additional work, schedule concerns, and potential solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, clients, subcontractors, and building representatives.
- Use construction-management software to keep project information accurate and current.
Qualifications
- Direct experience working on occupied high-rise concrete, stucco, waterproofing, painting, or building-envelope restoration projects.
- Previous construction field-leadership or project-management experience as a Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager.
- Concrete-repair experience preferred, including familiarity with demolition or chipping, reinforcing-steel treatment, forming, patching or concrete placement, curing, and inspections.
- Ability to independently drive field operationsnot simply monitor crews.
- Strong computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, and electronic project documentation.
- Ability to read construction plans, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience maintaining daily reports, progress photos, as-builts, and other field documentation.
- Procore, Bluebeam, and OSHA training are preferred.
