Title: Material Handler
Shift: 1st (8am-4:30pm) & 2nd (1pm-8:30pm)
Pay: $18.50
Location: Liberty, MO
Properly receives and warehouses incoming new material products such as pallets, ingredients, cases, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Responsibility:
- Moves product or material to ensure ITPs accuracy for ingredients, film, and corrugated.
- Maintains proper rotation of products within the Warehouse (including, Assembles customer orders by established identifiable methods, such as: stock number, lot and sub number or item code number.
- Safely operate power equipment within a crowded cooler and/or warehouse work environment.
- Reports necessary maintenance requirements on facilities and equipment.
- Will share with other, responsibility for housekeeping and sanitation standards within worksite assigned.
- Properly receive products or materials through the use of RF guns.
- Properly move and track product or material using WMS.
- Be prepared to fill in wherever support for the Materials Handling department is needed.
- Other duties as assigned by TL/Supervisor.
Requirements:
- HSD or GED equivallent
- Must successfully complete the forklift certification test
- Ability to learn and operate computerized data entry systems (RF & WMS) from radio frequency terminals mounted on forklifts.
- Must be viewed as a team player (by partners in current work areas).
- Ability to read and write legibly.
- Able to complete necessary paper systems used in WMS and other Materials Handling work areas (Dry Storage, for example).
- Proficient in math skills that will allow you to accurately process customer orders.
