We're looking for a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to run and monitor CNC machines producing precision metal components. This is a hands-on production role suited to someone who takes pride in consistent, high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers according to job specs and blueprints
- Load raw materials and select appropriate tooling
- Monitor machine cycles and make minor adjustments to maintain tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience operating CNC machinery (or completion of a relevant vocational/technical program)
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of G-code and machine controls
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Nice to Have
- Experience with multiple machine types (mills, lathes, Swiss-type)
- Familiarity with CAM software
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing
