We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care to cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, monitor cardiac and clinical conditions, and work closely with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients on admission and throughout each shift.
- Monitor cardiac and overall patient condition and report changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Develop and follow individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide safe, compassionate, and timely patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in any setting, including LTAC, home health, or hospital.
- Active Florida RN license or approved multistate/compact license.
- BLS required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
- Must live within a commutable distance of the facility. Candidates living 60+ minutes away will not be considered unless relocating.
