QHES Manager

This position will take a leading role in developing and implementing an ISO 9001 based quality management system and in building an organization that is able to support the requirements of the nuclear power industry. This roll will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all group, local and federal rules and laws regarding HS&E and help build an organization in which customer satisfaction and injury free working are the ultimate targets. Duties/Responsibilities:

· Plan, implement, and follow up on HSE programs to prevent or eliminate injuries, and work-related illnesses, environmental waste while also fulfilling and respecting all group, local, state and federal requirements.

· Develop and implement an ISO 9001 based quality management system as well as an ASME based quality management system that allows us to be an active distributor of pipe related material for nuclear power plants.

· Help develop, document and track KPI, report on progress and define actions with management to correct where needed.

· Report on all QHES related activities to Management and authorities.

· Support with all QA related activities in the warehouse during receiving and inspection.

· Provide internal training and documentation.

· Actively follow up on non-conformances and ensure that corrective actions are defined and implemented efficiently and effectively.

Education and Experience / other requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 3 years of experience in working with and developing ISO 9001 based quality management systems.

· Basic technical knowledge of pipes, fittings, flanges and/or valves for mid-stream and down-stream applications

· Proficient in English and Microsoft Office Suite.

· As this role is in person, a daily commute maximum 25 miles.
