Litigation Associate (5-10 Years) | Complex Commercial & Pharmaceutical Litigation | Princeton, NJ
About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing litigation-focused firm, is seeking a mid-level to senior Litigation Associate to join its Princeton-based team. This is a hands-on, generalist role with real responsibility on complex civil and commercial matters, working directly with partners who have deep experience in both business disputes and life sciences litigation.
What You'll Do
- Handle complex civil and commercial litigation matters from pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and trial
- Represent clients in partnership and shareholder disputes, regulatory matters, and government-facing matters
- Support and work on pharmaceutical and life sciences litigation, including regulatory and IP-related issues
- Take an active role in case strategy, legal research and writing, depositions, and court appearances
- Work closely with partners and clients, with meaningful exposure and responsibility
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years of litigation experience at a law firm
- Admission to the New Jersey bar (required); NY and/or PA admission preferred
- Strong background in complex civil and/or commercial litigation
- Trial experience or significant courtroom exposure
- Pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulatory litigation experience is a strong plus
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
- A self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a generalist practice
Location
Princeton, NJ. The full team is based in Princeton, and candidates should be able to work on-site there, at least initially.
Compensation
- Base salary: $175,000 - $200,000
- Discretionary bonus: up to $40,000
