Chemical Engineer – Compounding Department (Junior-Level Opportunity)
Position Overview
We are looking for a Junior Chemical Engineer to join our Compounding Department in a fastgrowing glove manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or earlycareer engineers who want handson experience with real industrial chemical processes, formulation control, and production optimization.
What You Will Do
- Assist with preparing daily chemical batches following established formulas and mixing procedures.
- Measure and monitor key parameters such as pH, viscosity, temperature, and concentration.
- Support adjustments to chemical mixtures to ensure consistency and product quality.
- Learn how to troubleshoot batch deviations and help identify root causes.
- Work closely with senior engineers, production teams, and quality control to maintain smooth operations.
- Help maintain batch records, SOPs, and chemical inventory logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and learn best practices for chemical handling in a production environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Basic understanding of chemical reactions, mixing processes, and lab measurements.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced setting and collaborate with different teams.
