Inspector

Receiving Inspector 1 (1st Shift)

We are looking for a Receiving Inspector to join our team and support incoming inspection of materials, components, and sub-assemblies in a regulated manufacturing environment. This person will work closely with Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering to make sure incoming parts meet company and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming/receiving inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies using engineering drawings and work instructions
• Use precision measurement tools and inspection equipment to verify parts meet specifications
• Accurately document inspection results in the electronic QMS system
• Identify and communicate part issues, defects, and non-conformances to the appropriate teams
• Work with Purchasing and Engineering to help resolve issues with incoming materials and parts
• Follow established quality procedures, SOPs, and standard work instructions
• Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection department
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience within a medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills

Preferred

• Knowledge of IPC standards such as IPC-A-610 or IPC/WHMA-A-620
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts
