We are a small, family-run telecommunications company seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. This role involves installing low-voltage cabling, fiber optic cables, and telecommunications equipment in various commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cables and fiber optic systems.
* Set up and maintain telecommunications equipment such as switches, routers, and other network hardware.
* Troubleshoot and repair connectivity issues.
* Ensure installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.
* Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and vehicles.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience with low-voltage cabling and/or fiber installation is a plus but not required.
* Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Basic understanding of telecommunications and networking systems is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in tight spaces.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
