Material Handler

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The role involves loading, unloading, and conveying materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site, under specific direction. You will perform a combination of tasks including shipping and receiving, using hand tools to open containers, counting and weighing materials, and recording information accurately.

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand.
• Sort and place materials into designated Bench Stock Locations (BSL) and perform inventory using a Windows tablet.
• Transport materials using carts, hand trucks, or other devices; stack or assemble materials as needed.
• Order materials for bin replenishment using handheld tablet and scanner.

• Proficiency in material handling and inventory management.
• Experience with picking and sorting materials.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Experience working in a similar role at an industrial or manufacturing site is a plus.

This position is located at Robins Air Force Base, working a 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves working with various technologies and equipment, including tablets and scanners, in an active and engaging setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Warner Robins, GA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
