We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Assistant Manager to join a growing quick-service restaurant concept in Brockton, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shift Leader, Assistant Manager, or AGM who is ready to take on greater leadership responsibility in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who can confidently direct a team, maintain accountability, make decisions under pressure, and help develop future Shift Leaders and management talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability to team members.
- Maintain a strong leadership presence, particularly during evening and weekend shifts.
- Help build and develop a strong team of Shift Leaders and hourly employees.
- Address performance issues directly and professionally when necessary.
- Make proactive operational decisions and respond effectively to changing business needs.
- Oversee cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and daily shift execution.
- Assist with employee scheduling and staffing needs.
- Support inventory management and product controls.
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
- Ensure team members follow company procedures and operational standards.
- Help create a positive, productive, and accountable restaurant culture.
- Support the General Manager with day-to-day operations and special initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous restaurant management experience required Shift Lead, Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or AGM experience is preferred.
- Experience in a QSR, fast-casual, or other high-volume restaurant environment strongly preferred.
- High-energy and comfortable working in a fast-paced operation.
- Able to effectively multitask and manage several priorities at once.
- Strong communication and direction-giving skills.
- Confident leading a team and holding employees accountable.
- Comfortable having direct conversations and addressing performance issues when necessary.
- Proactive decision-maker who takes ownership rather than waiting to be directed.
- Highly dependable and punctual reliability and attendance are critical.
- Strong team-building and employee-development skills.
- Professional, mature, and serious about building a long-term career in restaurant operations.
