We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the execution of complex defense programs. This individual will be responsible for managing cost, schedule, and technical performance while serving as a key liaison between engineering, program management, finance, and customer stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong background in defense program execution, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical and program execution efforts across defense programs.
- Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance within an EVMS environment.
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Support forecasting, Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) planning, and program performance analysis.
- Monitor earned value metrics, variance analysis, and program health indicators.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful program delivery.
- Support internal and customer program reviews and reporting activities.
- Ensure alignment between engineering execution, financial performance, and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of project engineering, systems engineering, or program engineering experience.
- Experience leading technical teams and program execution efforts.
- Strong understanding of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Experience supporting DoD or other defense-related programs.
