Assembler

The assembler will be responsible for constructing frames, sub-assemblies, cooling systems, and enclosure components using hand and power tools. The role involves installing mechanical hardware, busbars, brackets, cable trays, and structural components according to engineering drawings and build instructions. The assembler will perform alignment of mechanical parts, follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, and route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and harnesses. Additionally, the assembler will install electrical components, document results, and communicate any issues to engineering or project leads. The position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately, conduct in-process quality inspections, work off a tablet to find job orders, and lift up to 50 lbs. The assembler will modify, rework, and reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions, perform repetitive and skilled assembly operations, and conduct basic quality checks.

The work schedule is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, currently requiring 10-hour workdays, with a second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Overtime availability is expected. The role is based in two locations: one in Simpsonville and the other in Fountain Inn off Southchase Blvd.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fountain Inn, SC.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
