Material Handler / Forklift Driver
Zing Recruiting is seeking experienced Material Handlers/Forklift Operators to join our team in carol stream.
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM $20/hr
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM $21.50/hr
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and verify shipments.
- Move and stage raw materials, finished goods, and inventory.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required paperwork.
- Follow all safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Work with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet daily goals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified.
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand/walk throughout the shift.
