About This RoleThe Teacher is responsible for managing the classroom each day. They must understand how children grow and learn socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. The Teacher should create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom where children can learn and succeed. They must communicate well with children, families, and staff, support teacher assistants, and help address any parent concerns.
What You'll Do- Plan and provide age-appropriate learning activities that support children’s development.
- Lead by example and support other teachers through guidance and teamwork.
- Plan individual and group activities that help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and needs.
- Follow all center policies and state childcare regulations.
- Keep the classroom clean, safe, healthy, and secure for all children.
- Keep all classroom records, forms, and files accurate and up to date.
- Continue professional development and training to improve teaching skills and classroom quality.
Requirements- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) to foster a team environment.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
