EHC is seeking an Expeditor for a client in Houston, Texas. Temp to Perm opportunity.
As the Expeditor you bring value client by assisting the work flow through the shop from department to department to ensure that jobs continue to flow with minimal delay throughout each process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using the schedule, expedites daily workload through all processes to achieve customer delivery requirements
- Communicate with the Scheduler and other departments to ensure that jobs are being processed with minimal delay and are completed within the time scheduled
- Participate in production meetings for scheduling workload
- Update the department schedule to keep the information current and accurate as jobs flow through the shop
- On call duties as assigned
- Follow the requirements of Company's safety program
- Other duties as assigned
TOOLS, EQUIMPMENT, AND MACHINES:
- Applicable inspection and test equipment designated by the inspection, measuring, and test equipment work instruction(s).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Graduate or GED or Trade School or read and write
- Experience: 1 year of industry experience
- Proficiency Testing: See training below in Section 5.0
- Capability Demonstration: Ability to perform job duties within 90 days of hire

- Company safety training
- Required reading list for management system familiarization
- Company quality indoctrination
- Formal training with Company work instructions and industry standards stated on the training matrix
