Job Title: CMM Inspector/Inspector
2nd shift: 3:15 pm to 1:45 am (4/10)
Weekend shift: 5 am to 5:30 pm (3/12)
Temp to hire
Pay rate: $27/hr

Job Summary:
In this role as a QA, you will work with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base. You'll also provide auditing support to shop floor operations. Performing scheduled calibrations on measurement instruments to meet industry standards. Documenting calibration activities, test results for compliance and traceability. Collaborating with engineers, and other technical personnel to resolve issues concerning gage requirements. Suggesting equipment upgrades and maintaining calibration tools and supplies

Skills Required:
Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.

Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.

Able to support Day Shift and Weekend Shift.

Technical knowledge of calibration standards, measurement principles, and quality control procedures in compliance with NIST and ISO requirements

Hands-on experience with calibration tools, electronic test equipment, and software

Skills Preferred:

Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.

Weld inspection knowledge/experience.

Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate data interpretation

Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and correct equipment deviations

Physical dexterity for standing, crouching, or kneeling during inspections and repairs

Education:
High School Diploma or GED
