Preform Preparation Worker

Hours:7am to 3pm / 3pm to 11pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

The person fulfilling the duties and tasks of the Preform Preparation Worker will be subjected to a highly flammable environment. It is imperative and the responsibility of the Preform Preparation Worker that he/she wears his/her required Personal Protective Equipment. The Preform Preparation Worker will have acquired enough experience and training to fill at least one of the following jobs with minimal supervision, however in the interim will continue to complete the following duties and any other responsibilities: warm stock on any mill, sign out and return stock, set-up and adjust related equipment, Barwell equipment, tuber equipment; and set, adjust, and maintain Throop cutter to cut proper weight and size performance. Additionally, the person fulfilling the duties of this position is expected to demonstrate a team player’s attitude at all times.

EDUCATION

• High School diploma/GED

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• (1) to (3) months (preferred)
• Teachability
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Ability cooperate and communicate effectively
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent work ethic and dependability.
• Strong attributes in terms of dependability and personal flexibility regarding job commitment and punctuality
• Ability to follow and execute instructions properly
• Physically capable to work standing eight hours per day
