Automation Field Service Technician

What You'll Do
- Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced robotic and automated manufacturing systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at customer facilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Support robotic welding systems, pneumatic equipment, electrical controls, and mechanical assemblies.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Interface directly with customers to provide technical support and exceptional service.
- Learn and work with advanced automation software, robotics, and AI-driven manufacturing technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Technical degree, trade certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience with industrial automation, manufacturing equipment, machine shops, fabrication, industrial maintenance, or mechanical/electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Welding experience is a plus (certification not required).
- Comfortable learning new technologies, automation software, and basic programming concepts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% throughout the U.S.
