General Production Worker

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. You will be responsible for operating a grinder and setting up machines according to work orders. Training will be provided for machine setup, material loading, and part inspection.

• Operate a grinder and other machine tools.
• Receive work orders and set up machines accordingly.
• Load materials using a lift-assisted crane.
• Inspect finished products using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Adjust material on machines to ensure correct dimensions before cutting or grinding.
• Convert decimals to fractions using a calculator for precise measurements.

• Experience as a machine operator.
• Proficiency in grinding, cutting, and using saws.
• Ability to use inspection equipment including calipers and tape measures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Experience with shop math and converting decimals to fractions.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and inspections.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
