Job Title: Production AssociateJob Description

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for building, assembling, inspecting, and repairing products. You will perform both simple and complex maintenance tasks on production and support machines, ensuring all work meets production quality standards. Your role will involve reviewing and completing necessary documentation related to production processes, yield, rework, and scrap. Effective communication with maintenance, engineering, and various departments is essential, as is your ability to suggest improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery. You'll be setting up, programming, and running complex equipment and machine tools, and you may also orient, train, and supervise the work of other team members.

Responsibilities
  • Build, assemble, inspect, and repair products.
  • Perform simple and complex maintenance on production and support machines.
  • Review and complete documentation of production processes, yield, rework, and scrap.
  • Verify all completed work conforms to production quality standards.
  • Communicate requests and requirements to maintenance, engineering, and other departments.
  • Suggest improvements to safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Set up, program, and run complex equipment and machine tools.
  • Run and maintain test equipment per procedure.
  • Implement process improvements per change procedures.
  • Orient, train, and supervise other team members.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment with shifts available as follows: 1st shift from 4:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am Monday through Thursday, Weekend 1st shift from 4:30 am to 4:30 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Weekend 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 4:30 am Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.73 - $21.23/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
