Warehouse Associate
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor

PAY : Upto $20/hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
JOB SUMMARYSupport the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used inor to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Participates in Safety Program.
Adheres to all quality assurance procedures.
Assists in meeting production requirements.
Works overtime as required (sometimes with minimal/short notice)
Participates in process improvement activities.
Follows instructions of Team Leader and/or Supervisor & Any other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Receiving incoming products and materials.
- Requires completion of incoming inspection testing and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation.
- Notification and/or delivery of incoming product to end user.
- Each receipt must have documentation (Packing Slip etc.) to supportcomputer system entries.
- Requires completion of daily Receiving entries in computer system.
- Receivers distributed to accounting office for filing.
All outbound shipments.
- Requires preparation of paperwork in system, management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services.
- Required to forward a requisition for shipping materials to the departmentSupervisor for approval.
- UPS/FedEx software is to be used effectively and understood for summaryreporting on request.
General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas.
- Requires hands on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments and outside waste disposal vendor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition andfollow prescribed safety regulations.are required of the employee.
Documentation distribution.
- Requires transfer of all original documents to department Supervisor for distribution.
- Responsible for planning pick-up by the carrier specified via the shippinginstructions.
- Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the departmentTeam Leader and/or Supervisor.
Job Kitting
- Ability to fill orders based on production/customers needs.
- Able to identify/verify correct parts that are pulled for orders.
- Ability to use measuring tools and part counting scales.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must pass and maintain required First Day Knowledge Assessment training.
- Must be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer thecorrect information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into database.
- Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are usedand required by the major freight carriers.
- Must be capable of estimating weight and use that information to calculate the cost of shipping.
- Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aidsused to convey specific packaging requirements.
- Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be acertified forklift truck operator or possess the ability to become certified.
- Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable.

Required to stand for long periods of time and frequent use of hands and fingers,to handle and feel.- Moderate activity, with occasional bending and stooping, standing and/or walking forextended periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds while using safe lifting techniques.
- Speaking and hearing: able to comprehend English language.
- See and have visual capability: able to see screens, monitors, and environment.

- Generally, works regular work hours, occasionally works after hours.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy and can be loud. Warehouse/plant climate can be based upon outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time when on the plant floor.
