What You Will Do:
As theOperations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational integrity of NatureBridgeenvironmental science programs in Yosemite National Park by accurately andefficiently managing complex logistics for all groups attending programs, ensuring a welcomingand supportive atmosphere for guests while on site, and coordinating closely with other campusdepartments to ensure a seamless customerexperience
This positiontakes place at our campus in Yosemite National Park and cannot be performed remotely.
Your primary job will be to:
Create and update the weekly Environmental Science staffing schedule through Salesforce CRM and ensure all logistical details are accurate and promptly communicated to staff.
Manage scheduling requests from all Educators, in conjunction with their supervisor’s approval.
Partners with the Sales and Education Teams to meet program scheduling goals.
Train Educators on program logistics and schedule management.
Routes all paperwork to designated locations in a timely manner.
Hire, supervise and train all Administrative Educator positions
Is in person on campus(es) at least twice per week
Prepares weekly reports for participant lodgings, meals, transportation and recreation by working closely with clients, NatureBridge staff and the Yosemite concessionaire to ensure accuracy.
Ensures smooth program implementation by refining, developing, communicating, and supporting logistics systems.
Update and steward the Yosemite Operations and Program Logistics Manual and Administrative Educator Manuals.
Address risk management concerns with clients/vendors and coordinate necessary modifications with associated staff.
Works closely with Campus and National Director of Risk Management on a case by case basis and promotes implementation of Risk Management policies.
Performs duties of the Administrative Educator team members when needed, including overnight and weekend coverage.
Participate in monthly cross departmental meetings including Yosemite Management Team. Participate in monthly meetings with National and other campus Operations teams.
Collaborate with National and other campus Operations teams annually to revise paperwork and operational systems.
Maintain CRM systems and monitor program portals.
Act as Rotating Manager On Call.
Occasional weekend and night work.
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Compensation:
$52,000 annual salary

Who You Are:
We are looking for candidates who have:
2-4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree
Wilderness First Responder Certification
Robust risk management experience and expertise
Extremely detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, task, and time management skills
Excellentcommunicator with a strong customer service orientation
Strong problem-solving skills; able to make decisions independently while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated office experience, managing and communicating information quickly and accurately
Proficiency with CRM systems and Google online tools
