Program Highlights:

  • Duration:10 weeks (or longer)
  • Rotations:Experience multiple facets of site development through rotations in departments like project management,field, safety,and estimating.
  • Mentorship:Dedicated mentors from each department will guide and support interns,providing career advice and feedback.
  • Project Participation:Contribute to current projects,gaining valuable experience and seeing the impact of your work firsthand.
  • Professional Development:Attend workshops,training sessions,and guest speaker events on relevant topics like leadership,communication,and technical skills.
  • Networking Opportunities:Connect with industry professionals and build valuable relationships for future career opportunities.

Target Applicants:

  • Undergraduate or graduate students majoring in civil engineering,construction management,surveying,environmental science,or related fields.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in site development.
  • Excellent communication,teamwork,and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

  • Selected interns will be notified and offered a formal program agreement.

    • Week 1: Safety Training (OSHA 10) Shadow Safety Coordinator for the week
    • Week 2: Field
    • Week 3: Field

    • Week 5: Field/Fleet
    • Week 6: Project Management
    • Week 7: Project Management
    • Week 8: Project Management
    • Week 9: Project Management/Estimating
    • Week 10: Team Building/Final Presentation to Executive Team/Graduation
  • Project Management: Assist with project scheduling,budgeting,and communication; attend client meetings; gain exposure to project lifecycle.
  • Fleet Management:Learn equipment and maintenance; field data collection and analysis; logistics.
  • Estimating: Assist with plan reviews and planning; learn CAD software for drawing preparation; site visits and construction observation.
  • Safety Management: Shadow safety coordinator, participate in employee training and site visits. Possible OSHA 30 Training
  • Field: Shadow construction crews; understand construction methods and materials; experience site safety protocols and quality control procedures.
