Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction, mining, quarry, or aggregate equipment
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, powertrain components, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and hydraulic or electrical diagrams
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate and move heavy equipment safely; CDL is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns in the field
- Repair or replace components such as engines and hydraulic systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
